Just checking in to let everyone know that the rumours are true. We did receive a copy of both Pokemon Sword & Shield.

We've begun the datamine process and will keep you updated throughout the upcoming weeks until launch.

Biggest questions asked-
1) How many pokemon?
At launch you will have 692 pokemon in total.

2) How many new pokemon?
Not including new forms of old pokemon, 75.
With new forms 84.

There are Regional placeholders however tied to the Nintendo Shop suggesting we will get expansions, possible season passes (doubtful), but highly likely DLC packs with different pokemon. Free? I don't know (yet). They are named after each Region up until Galar.

More than interesting are the tie-ins to Pokemon GO we've found so far suggesting there will be open trading to and from the game involing more than what we've seen in the past with Let's GO. Speaking of that, there are more Let's GO Pokemon that have bonuses other than what was revealed. More on that as we get in-game recordings.

P.S - Yes there will be at launch another version of PKHex useable with Sword & Shield. Possibly a way to modify the game too, not sure yet.
