Idk, OP. The clouds look kinda cute. Reminds me of something out of early Dragon Ball. In fact, I'd say everything other than the clouds is what's in need of improvement.

Why not just put a timer next to the Pokemon's name after it transforms? No need to have a meta thing affect a Pokemon's aesthetic.

The same generic explanation given for Mega Evolution and Z-Moves, it's some sort of energy inherent to the Galar region. Although they did specify that they're projections, the Pokemon doesn't physically grow larger. So, the same as Ultraman, basically.

They don't. It's just a hard light projection and the actual Pokemon is inside of it, unchanged.
