This is literally the only reason because I don't hated at all this new mechanic. I felt so bad when they created Mega Beedrill and gave nothing to Buttefree. Now I'm happy with this, it's beautiful, I really like this design, I think it shows that they can take advantage of this new mechanics. However, this is impossible considering everything else that has come out so far.

You don´t need high stats to be broken. Just an broken ability or move like Talonflame in gen 6. High stats also don´t mean that a thing is viable, just look wishiwashi.

Speed is literally the only stat that matters. If you're slow you're screwed. Very few pokemon make it work.
Walls don't need speed but they're only good if they're very, very fat and have a recovery move.

I'm not even sure it'd be worth a spot in a team, it's still Butterfree outside of Dynamax.
You will have to wreck everything in 3 turns, and it doesn't have Tinted Lens so it'll be harder to do.

You misunderstand. The theory is that Caterpie/Metapod and Venonat were deliberately switched during development despite originally being designed to evolve into Venomoth and Butterfree respectively.
