All of the original 151 are basically guaranteed to be in the game. Outside of that, I'd say any pokemon with the exception of starters is likely to get cut. If they cut Shuckle I'm fucking quitting the game forever.

For me, Smeargle. Despite it being my favorite Pokémon, I don't see it returning. Other Pokémon that might get cut could have Signature Moves, so if the moves are cut, that wouldn't be surprising.

Redundant ones like regional rat, bug, fish, rock, bird.
Lackluster shitmons like Delcatty, Grumpig, Aromatize, Drampa.
Many gen 4/5 because remakes.

My hopes:
Legendaries like genies, tapus, UBs, Lati@s, lake trio, bird trio, shitran, volcanion, magearna, mew, etc

This one is a given, Either all starters get in with their own Gigantimax form or it's just the Kanto starters and Sinnoh(if we're getting a DPPL remake).

The popular mons for 12 year olds are definitely getting in, like Absol, Mightyena, etc.

I’m pretty sure Masuda himself has said not all Pokémon available in Lets go Pikachu/Eevee will be available in Sword/Shield, I think it might have been at E3

He was probably talking about Meltan/Melmetal then. I can't imagine that with all the Kanto pandering Game Freak is doing that they would omit even one of the original 150. But I also can't imagine that they would cut a pokemon that was added less than a year ago.

Masuda flat-out said not everything from Kanto's getting in, when he told Trinian at E3 he'd only be able to bring shinies from Let's Go if they appeared in the Galar region pokédex.

They distributed a shiny krabby to the japanese sword and shield secret club recently, I'm betting it's one of the pokémon guaranteed a spot in Galar, if only to show it off there. It was only a swarming pokémon in Sinnoh originals too, so it's easier to cut from them and put it in Galar if they wanted too.
