Serious question: Is GameFreak aware that we’re tired of the Kanto shit? I understand it’s all about marketing, so I get why they do it. But do they even know we hate it, or do they actually think we only care about Charizard and Pikachu and couldn’t give a fuck about everything else?

Kanto sold 30 million. The new games sell 15 million. At least 5-10 million of those 15 are people who did not buy kanto. So there are 20-25 million people who bought kanto who don't buy the new games, and they want some of those people to start buying them.
