Fucking duh.

The problem was never that SwSh wasn't getting new Pokémon. The problem was that they overcorrected on SuMo's shitty marketing that showed literally everything and the PR team basically just took their ball and went home in response.

This was pretty obvious from the start, the idea that they just had nothing to show never really made any sense. They could have been talking about routes, towns, gyms, gym leaders, other characters, etc. They weren't talking about ANYTHING. They clearly just wanted to reveal the bare minimum this time around after spilling so much of the beans last Gen.

No, the problem is that the region still looks fucking empty just like Alola and Kalos. New Pokémon are nice and definitely important but you need activities to enjoy them. They need to promote at least one thing, FUCKING ONE. So far we've only got raids, which are a nice idea but it's another catching gimmick like SOS in gen VII. Most people catch one of each mon for the dex and move on.
