Some animations are altered, and some are new, others are reused. "model"typically means mesh + texture. the textures are new so it's a new model. The meshes are the same.

Yeah, this "argument" is trash
Older games didnt have all Pokemon found in the wild either, but all Pokemin existed in the game
For exemple Ponyta isnt found wild in Alola, but you can bring one from older games

It seems the reflection is off center somehow. It'd like to see it in motion to see if it's some kind of motion blurr/delayed reaction to the camera. Not to really forgive it but I'm just interested in the cause and the context.
