The Pokemon games that focus more on story are clearly worse than the ones that don't. Game Freak has never been able to write a story that isn't absolute shit, so the more they focus on it, the worse that game is. Wasting the players' time by making them mash A for several minutes is objectively worse than pre-Gen IV games.
