Every pokemon made to be shilled is by definition a mistake.
Every pokemon is someone's favorite, and everyone will get that moment when they meet their favorite in the game, but these assholes go against that by forcing you to make the decision before you get the chance to consider it.
I never gave Riolu a chance in Platinum. I just boxed the egg because I didn't even had enough hatred for it to release it after hatching, just disdain; I didn't want to look at it. Fuck you, Riley.
