replaying white 2 because I want to have a good Pokemon game fresh in my mind before i play shield. using pokemon ive never used before, ditches my starter for a pidove. any fun recommendations? thinking about koffing too.

Out of curiosity, was Scrafty any good in gen 5?
I put one on my Ultra Lillie team and it's one of the most annoyingly situational pokemon I've ever used. It either dies to being grazed when facing a bad match up or completely walls its opponent.

Scrafty actually made a decent in game sweeper for me thanks to moxie and a decent move pool. I've used him twice out of four gen 5 playthroughs

In August I edited a few of the trainers in BW1 as a challenge mode. Will probably play through that in early November before Shield releases

Not OP, but I'm currently running through white 2 rocking Chandelure, Krookodile, Galvantula, Cobalion, Serperior, and Swanna as my tm whore.

Side note, what's that palkia in a blanket from?

I'm using Chandelure too. I think it's my favorite gen 5 pokemon.

And on the palkia picture, I have no idea I've just had it saved on my phone for a while. He comfy.

Chandelure is based. People always talk about what unova did for bugs, but can we appreciate what it did for ghosts? Golurk, Cofagrigus, and Chandelure are some of my favs.

Comfy palk is best palk. I'd like more of comfy palk if it exists.

Ghost is my favorite typing and gen 5 gave a lot of good mons for the type. I like the dragon legendaries of the generation too. I think maybe my favorite box legendaries other then the Sinnoh ones.

Definitely. Shit, Zek is what got me into competitive battling, thanks to me rolling a jolly with 4 perfect IVs in ORAS. I hate that I have to hide my love of box legendaries here because liking them is "for little kids" or something like that. Fug, Zek, Palk, the regis, and bacon bird are some of my favorite mons.

Damn, that sounds brutal anon. Elesa already made me want to kill myself in the og white, and even with a genesect in white 2 she was still hard. I can only imagine having to deal with those two flying thundercunts with a team that's entirely weak to them

The game looks great on a DS Lite or DSi XL screen.
Gen 5 absolutely needs to be pixel perfect or it becomes awful looking, like on the 3DS.

Yeah it was really the first time i actually felt challenged by a pokemon games base story, and not being able to get tympole until after e4 made it hard to find good damage sponges. By postgame i think my team ended up as samurott, swanna, wailord, jellicent, starmie, and walrein
