Colosseum did it fine. Let's Go did it fine. What's the excuse this time around? That Wailord wouldn't fit in a lake? Then give it a big enough sea area. If there isn't a big enough area then Wailord shouldn't even be in the region especially considering that the dex cut was made around "pokemon fitting in the region".

But it is possible. Just look at the Metroid games Ridley has been in. His size may be inconsistent in them, but he's undoubtedly very large.

Using this as an analogue to pokemon is hilarious. Pokemon spawn in the overworld and aren't constrained by gameplay function in the same way Smash characters are.

Ridley doesn't have a "lore size", you dumb faggot. The whole "Ridley is too big" nonsense was always just a retarded excuse to exclude him from Smash, in his home series his size isn't even always consistent within the same game. The only constant is that he's always bigger than Samus, and that's it.

I always thought that if Sakurai could make the skeleton work, the only justification you needed for Ridley to have a smaller body was that the Space Pirates made him a smaller body because he wanted to go kick Samus's ass. And even that, that's only if you really cared about a reason.

congrats on missing their point. The story of every Smash game is literally a child playing with toys. The gameplay is what the child sees in their imagination. Pokemon games are meant to take place in what is basically a fantasy version of Earth.
