Supposedly the size of two regions. even two Great Plateaus, which is the smallest region in BotW is a fairly large play space for an experience that isn't primarily open world considering that it's larger than the entire Ocarina of Time play space and slightly smaller than all of Hyrule in Twilight Princess.
