They have yet to explain it - given it shows 10 “levels”, I wouldn’t be surprised if it is story-related, where you start at level 1 and increase by 1 for each badge you collect, with the 10th level being achieved when you beat the league (each level increases the move-power boost/HP boost by 5%, maxing at +50% for HP)
