Pretty much Retards fail to realise only spending time on about 5-6 hundred pokémon in total,, allows Game Freak to use the rest of the time available to start doing shit with the game experience like they did before. Anyone sperging the games are going to be the same as the last two Generations are unironically forgetting Dexit was a method of ensuring that wasn't the case with Sword and Shield.

It has everything to do with it anon. /vp/ has decided the games are going to be worse than SM, despite Game Freak cutting the 'Dex to allow them more time to work on the rest of the game. Not having to support 1000+ models starting development from the outset allows them to write their project plan to take this into consideration and allows them to allocate more time to other elements they wish to add (they had a team on the project who's sole agenda was to revamp and expand the customisation options. A far cry from last Gen where Trials got added at the last minute by a one-man show, as there was no-one to spare to help him code them in).

I honestly don't remember if there was ever any confirmation on that. The images look like they were taken in a studio though, very similar to other cartoon leaks. Either a pissed off employee or someone's kid/friend visiting that decided, "eh, fuck it."

But from a real business standpoint, why would they do that? If the majority of the fanbase (read: millions of people) are satisfied with the bare minimum, why would they actually need to put any more effort than they need to
Few things shown so far seem like things that couldn't have been done in prior gens

A screenshot of Let's Go does not prove that at all. Especially not when you very obviously read it wrong. What it meant is that the ideas introduced in Let's Go were a baseline for future games, which we have already seen with SwSh. The 3D animations, the overworld Pokemon, and the Switch as a console. They didn't carry over the two gimmicks that were specifically for the adult Go audience, which were the pokeball throwing and the Go Park. Jesus, you're stupid.
