Improved models for all old Pokemon
New animations for old Pokemon when they Dynamax
Redoing move animations so they use the Pokemon's run/walk cycles and make the battles more immersive
New animations like the player looking down when walking down the stairs, or NPCs having expressive sections of dialogue during battle

A lot of small details and new content. It's still a better Pokédex than Let's Go where evolutions of gen 1 Pokémon were locked off for no reason (because if it was just to keep it gen 1 only Meltan clashes with that). At least here we know cross generation evolutions aren't just staying but we're getting more of them.
