I like this little guy quite a lot. Scorbunny marks the first time since generations 1&2 that the Fire-type starter seems, by far, the best choice available. Ever since the Fire/Fighting trend started in Gen 3, with designs that resembled shitty, failed attempts at humanoid Digimon, I found myself begrudgingly resorting to either the Water or Grass options. Scorbunny also marks the first time in quite awhile that a starter is capable of capturing both a "cool" and "cute" aesthetic simultaneously. All this praise notwithstanding, I find myself quite apprehensive of how Scorbunny's evolutions will end up looking. Something tells me they are gonna fuck it up, one way or another. I just wish they'd reveal the evos already and stop playing with my emotions like this. It's genuinely exciting finally seeing another Fire starter that SEEMS to be worth a damn after literally 2 decades of waiting.
