The shit people are asking for would increase dev time by years and maybe you're fine with that but I'm not, not for some random quirky flavour shit that at the end of the days is meaningless.
I'm 29, I ain't waiting 5 years for each pokemon game just because a handful of niggers want some meaningless shit like slightly better animations and pokemon looking more natural in the overworld. That sort of shit is irrelevant to me. Sure I wouldn't say no to it if it didn't delay the game by years but it would. There's too many Pokemon for it to be feasible

Depends on their engine but judging by what we've seen elsewhere, they're not very experienced when it comes to implementation of HLSL (High-Level Shader Language) as these effects were done way different on custom handheld hardware.

Fair point. Just wanted to point out that writing the shader is not absolutely necessary to achieve this effect.

Adding splashes improves a little but sadly wont stop the wild area from looking like a pre-beta unfinished mess.
Nothing in this area looks like it belongs together in the same game. It neded more time and focus.
This game should have delayed.

i know i'm talking to a dumbass here but its the same company making an insanely similar game for the same console, surely it can't be so hard to do the same fucking thing twice? number of pokemon should mean nothing considering none of the models have actually been changed.
also since youre the one that brought it up, hell yes i'm going to compare it to botw considering theyre both nintendo games with open world aspects on the same console. maybe if game freak had some ambition we wouldnt even be having this argument.
