It's more about the lack of progress in 10 years, mate. Think about how much progress other series have made since 2010. Go compare Uncharted 3 to 4 or LoZ:SS to BotW and tell me it' not a massive step up graphically. Pokemon looks archaic currently. It could legit run on a Gamecube if the rendering res was lowered to 480p. I feel like we long time fans deserve better than this.

They really need to work on their damn AI. I just got done saving Nia and there were multiple times raiding the base where I would be fighting soldiers and a foot away there'd be an enemy group just sitting there not getting involved so the combat flow is fucked since I had to then restart combat with that group. It happens all the time in the wild too where monsters if the same species won't fucking help one another.

It really doesn't look all that nice past a few Pokemon and 4/5ths of the animations were reused from the past 4 games in the series. Honestly Battle Revolution is probably one of the biggest scam games the series has ever released. You can't even properly play it without spending like 300 more dollars for a DS and Diamond or Pearl. The other four games in the series were all playable without the original games despite connecting with them, and they all had stuff to actually do.

Since fucking when? You don‘t see people talking about fond memories about how nice that tree was they headbutted, but they talked how funny, good looking, stupid, strong, weak a trainer was. Pokemon is all about the adventure and npc‘s are hugely important for a good story in that adventure

Yeah, as a Xenoblade fan. I hate people using it to push their agenda. The game was actually super ugly for the most part on the Wii which is why people are celebrating a complete remake of it just a couple of gens later.

Comparing the environments from both games makes sense because that's what people are complaining about most in SS. Comparing the characters from both games doesn't make sense because it's almost unanimously agreed that the characters in SS actually look fine and just about nobody is complaining about them.
