>>40433274Gen 1: simplicity, how the battle music somehow manages to sound cooler vs your rival than other trainers despite being the exact same. Strangely enough I like how items are all in one place and you can only carry 20, too. It seems more realistic to me -- rather than stuffing each compartment with 50+ things -- but most importantly it teaches organizational skills
Gen 2: the graphic design and world in general is kino as fuck
Gen 3: good story and cool postgame content
Gen 4: amazing map design and world building
Gen 5: some maps have a very distinct and unique atmosphere unlike any other Pokémon game (probably because based off of a new country), some that I could relate too, however I was disappointed it was based off of only NY instead of the entire northeast.
Gen 6: I really liked Lumiose City
Gen 7: Ultra Space in USUM in its totality was akin to the Distortion World, Ultra Beasts are "weird" but really cool in their strangeness and viciousness.
