The shills are actually a bunch of trannies from discord, right? They're like, 4 or 5 posters more or less, spamming the board all day long, right? And they defend the games ironically just to get (you)s, right? I mean, how could someone with 3 digits iq defend a console game with less content and little to no improvements from handheld? Don't attack them too much, they probably thought pokemon snap was as challenging as a pokemon game should be.
To the rest, a true fan can be disappointed in the direction a game is going. Automatically agreeing with a game, despite all it's flaws, doesn't make you a true fan. It makes you a mindless buyer, the opposite of a true fan. When you are gone for the newest game fad, the true fan will stay and hope they learn the error of their way.
Cut core mechanics and content does not make for good game play, regardless of what content is cut. I say this as a person who has already seen one of my favorite pokemon be in the game. However how long will it stay that way? When will it be my pokebro's turn to not be among the list, because of "meta balance" or "had to add other content" that edged it out? If you side with the pokemon being cut, be prepared, you are supporting them coming for your favorite, or others you really like, next for the sake of "new content". A true fan understands this and stands up for each and every pokemon. Knowing that if he, or she doesn't, their pokemon might be next if they don't act.
The mindless buyer doesn't care, but then again they never cared about the games too much beyond the fact that they were new and shiny.

Less Pokemon + shiny crap =/= good game.
It equals bad.

The term gained popularity after it turned out there was a group of people who had a discord where they discussed trying to convince people to transition. I'm not certain on whether their intention was some sort of fetish, or simply to mess with people, possibly both, but essentially they became notable when someone actually killed themself due to it.

After that, "discord tranny" picked up rapidly to refer to anyone who might be from a potential outside-4chan source that comes here with the intention to shitpost/troll, but then slowly just became popular as a phrase in its own right to the point "tranny" now is basically just the same as "faggot" used to be - a word people throw around here because it's part of the culture but it doesn't mean much besides just "person I don't like/disagree with" unless specifically used in another context.

In the case of this anon >>40435070 I assume it's just that they see it as "the words people use here" or something. If they started coming here more than three years ago it'd be "faggot" instead of "tranny" I imagine.
