I'm the last of my friends who still played it, I refuse to play a game that won't honor EVERYONE's bros even if mine make it in. I thought LGPE would be a one-time thing but turns out its the new status quo.

/vp/ is no help either. Its just people arguing about dexit all day. No one ever actually defending it as a good thing, just saying that it's acceptable at the very most. Which is just sad.

"You're just mad they won't make a game with 1000 customizable characters" seems like a condensed way of defending selling inferior versions of existing products. Worst case scenario for gamefreak is that one more person isn't spending money.
