>>40441853It's almost like people who have been playing the games for 16+ years have standards for things to be the same way they have been.
FE games are almost always self-contained aside from a few games, and is a really poor example. Why would you expect Lucina to be in 3h?
Also, Lucina WAS in Fates if you had the amiibo. Pokemon are not fleshed out like other characters from other RPGs, outside of Mystery Dungeon games. And I also like to mention people were salty AF over Gates to Infinity not having all the pokemon, because the previous mystery dungeon games did.
Like, I was one of the only people I knew who was playing since '98 that kept playing in RS. None of my friends played it because they were upset over losing their 5 year old pokemon. I was too. It nearly killed the series for me. I'm still upset over losing my Gen 2 bros. If I hated Gen 4, I would have given up on the series because I was that burned.
So, doing this BS again, after 17 years (if you go by Japan's release date) of the standard of we won't lose things? Yeah, that's kind of bad.
And I want the entire dex in, because I have pokemon that are literally nearly 17 years old. They do this whole "uwu we care about the bond of your pokemon!! That's why we're adding things like a nature changer". Then why am I losing access to literally 16 years of pokemon I've bonded with? It's not just my Gen 3 bros. I got bros from all the games past then. It feels wrong.
Also, probably just going to throw this out there, that if Home is like Bank, forgetting to resub can result in your pokemon being deleted. So, if you don't have save backups, well I sure you hope you didn't really care too much about the pokemon you had in here.
So yeah, have fun paying more money for stuff that has been removed despite it being the norm for 17 years now. Yeah, I'll pass. The games will still well, but I'm not going to be involved in that.
