If anything, it's Dodrio's equivalent. Purrloin is obviously meant to be Meowth but I always think of Liepard as Unova's answer to Mightyena - a Dark type that appears very early and evolves early, but is pretty shit.

If they really give Conkel Counter+Dynamic Punch, yes, he's going to become the top non legendary fighting mon in GO. They gave shit moves to the horses of justice so he's going to stay as the top dog for a while.

Fighting moves are really fucking unbalanced in that game. It's either counter/Dynamic Punch or nothing at all. That really pisses me off honestly since Close Combat is so fucking good in the main games.

It’s more about Dynamic Punch no longer keeping up with the new defensive tricks and the new type resistances that flooded the meta. And then Gen 7 didn’t help with the confusion nerf. Conk’s damage output is on par or better plus with recovery, it’s just not a fair ground

Once per battle you can Dyna or Giga any Pokemon on your team (they don't have to hold an item so yes it can be any Pokemon), then they get to use G-Max moves for three turns. They can't be flinched. It's not certain if they can switch out or not or what happens with that.
