Some time ago I did a Crystal run here and took pictures of beating Red with a somewhat unconventional team, I'm back in my parents house and booted up my 3ds to be greeted by my old pals.

I'm planning on doing a SS run to celebrate the good times over the hold sword and shield fiasco and see if comfyness triumphs over the wonkyness of Jotho.

I'm planing on using Chikorita, Pineco and drowzee but I can't decide on my last 2 members, should I use the trade Chinchou, Kraby, slowpoke, Kenya, Flareon, Yanma, Natu or even Koffing given that they are decent, not as good as they are in B2W2 but fun to use in this game, heck probably some oddball like Stantler, mind helping me choose I'll be updating the adventure as it goes on.
The only catch is that it shouldn't be safari or Kanto only.

TLDR what should I use to have the most fun in SS considering I'm picking Chikorita?
