Gen 4 onwards.

Gen 1 is just oldfags. And yes, even they are getting annoyed at KANTOOO.
Gen 2 is also oldfags, but tired of being told their games are obsolete because there's Heart 'you can't leave without the radio card!' Gold.
Gen 3 Hoenn babies are growing up and becoming more tolerable, especially since getting shit on by ORAS
Gen 4 is annoying now. They feel entitled to their remake, and it shows. Oldfags didn't like going through Sinnoh the first time, and not really looking forward to it again.
Gen 5 are people that haven't figured out that story is antithesis of a fun pokemon game.
Gen 6 people don't exist. I guess people that like megas?
Gen 7 people are just lonely kids looking to try out some easy bait.

most people that enjoy gen 2, me included, aren't super into HGSS. It added to much story and handholding. Part of what made Gen 2 so great was how open it felt. Slapping on as much story as HGSS did undercut the reason a lot of us like GSC. Post game was better in those games, I'll give them that, but if I'm looking for a Johto experience, I'm sticking with the gameboy versions.

I just replayed gen 6 and it's a nice, fun game. However within context of coming after HGSS, plat and BW2, it is completely barren of substantial content. I beat it in 2 days. It feels like a gen 1 game in a sense.

Every gen, because there's always going to be a group of pompous faggots on /vp/ that think their special gen is the peak pokemon gen and as a result, need to constantly look down on others to elevate themselves. Today, it'll be Genwunners. Tomorrow, it'll be Sinnohfetuses and the next day, it'll be Unovabortions, etc.. These types of people will make any gen and it's fans look bad enough to the point where it incites others to form hatewagons against them. This upsets me, because this type of shit kills discussion and brings in more unnecessary animosity towards each other. It's Pokemon, people, not Politics.

I've been playing since R/B released in the states and I have to say that genwunners are the absolute worst. They're the most obnoxious and they're complaints about new games are never real complaints. "No one cares about new Pokemon anyway". That kind of shit. And any amount of preference towards non Gen 1 games is just met with them saying it's not as good as Gen 1.

Gen 2 is the next worst because they'll parade their games as the fucking greatest thing since sliced bread. "Two regions!" Who fuckin cares, Kanto sucks in both GSC and HGSS, and most of the new Pokemon are a pain in the ass to get.

Gen 3/4 are okay I guess. I've never really liked Hoennbabies though, but I think that's just because I'm not a fan of the games.

Gen 5 fags are also obnoxious, in the way that they're always butt blasted over the fact that their gen sold the worst, even if it wasn't by really that much. Personally Gen 5 is my favorite as well, but I know how annoying I am when I gush about liking the Pokedex, with it's rehashes and all.

I do not honestly believe Gen 6 has it's own fags. There's no identity to the games at all other than being the first 3D games. The region is as bland as Kanto and it has so few new Pokemon. I guess people who like Fairy type? I dunno, I've never met anyone with Gen 6 as their favorites.

Gen 7 fags are just the people who always like newest shit, so it's annoying, but no more so than your average human being.
