Did anyone else really like this minigame? I remember during the post-game I’d go back to do the pokeathlon over and over again.

I loved it a lot, it was a great addition as it had more diverse mini games unlike contests. Though I will say this, fuck peanut capture to hell and back.

Yeah. It was like contests but actually enjoyable and it totally made sense lore wise. Why didn't people think of doing sports with your pokemon earlier?

It's alright, but like all of the minigames Pokemon does, takes too long to get enough rewards for the shit you want so it just becomes rote repetition and padded out rather than a rewarding challenge because it gets one note. Voltorb Flip has the same problem.
