>>40453983>Masuda claims that the cuts will allow them to add "lots of content," so it's a matter of time until we know what his definition of that is.Oh yes, remember those other claims on how they had to cut pokemon for new animations and new textures? Oh that's right, that ended up being a flat out fucking lie, so what happens when Masuda's promises fall flat yet again?
>Besides, they haven't removed a core feature. There are still hundreds of Pokemon for people to choose from, just not all of them. They've severely gimped arguably one of the most important aspects of the game. Pokemon!
>These are all evolutions of past concepts that people seemed to enjoy. Why is there a problem with them now?Because they're not ambitious. Gigantamax and camping are fluff. There's no real meat to it. Shiny new gimmicks. Raid battles are the most ambitious thing to come out of this game, but they don't exactly seem fun, especially when all it does is unlock new Gigantamax forms, which depending on how hard they are to get, might end up being more tedious than fun, all for a gimmick (Gigantamax) that doesn't really add much to the gameplay.
The problem isn't with those features. The problem is they don't make up for the series stagnation and removal of other features. We expect and should expect better from the largest media franchise in the fucking world.
