>>40456250Nice false equivalence.
Animal Crossing has both caharacter rosters that cycle and change since the beginning on the 64 era. Same goes for town locations. While on surface this could be comparable, it isn't. At all. Sure, Isabelle and company could be there, but not everyone will return, and that dog will also be absent when they present the next "furbait waifu of the year" on the game.
Smash has rotating rosters as it's treated as a fighting game. What Sakurai's pulling right now, is a KoF 98 Unlimited Match. A "Dream match"; this is common to be a one-off in any type of fighting games (and sure, people shrieked when someone from the old rosters weren't there, but again, fighting game rules apply, and they promptly found new characters to stick on)
Pokemon, on the other hand, defined itself by being the only game with the core of having monsters from different regions, being available in any region, the way they're discovered (as in, EACH REGION they went forward; so that you don't use your stupid false equivalence of "but i didn't see galar pokemon in Kanto) or as a legacy roster, ever present to accomplish what the game was made of: collect, battle and capture; which were the three pillars that kept the game well.
Too bad that Masuda, Ishihara and by extension, all of GF are fucking the idea that Tajiri, Miyamoto and Iwata told them to not fuck up so bad, because they're left unattended.
As bad as people buying the equivalent of an incomplete, broken, borked AAA game (full price and all), from what's perceived as a "small indie dev", and not how it is: Becoming another EA in the works with their recent progress.
Keep on spouting bullshit, domesticated lapdog. I'll be here to retort you all day long!
