I'm sorry the show went to shit during Hoenn. Winning a league that didn't even exist when he went to the region, that doesn't have OFFICIAL pokemon league gym battles to obtain for entry to the league tournament, that doesn't have any qualifier for the tournament aside from 'Do you have a pokemon?', and still only winning because rules of official leagues from the past were overruled, does not mean SM anime wasn't as shit as the other seasons. It wasn't even baby's first league, it was literally created for him to win. Why else would Hala be sucking his dick? And he still needed asspulls and 2 legendary equivalents to win the league and beat Kukui. On top of that the only reason he finally 'won' is because of the reboot which people suspected/expected to happen if the anime ever did get rebooted or was going to come to an end. So I'm sorry that you think this so called win means he actually achieved anything. People were even saying in another thread that characters in the anime aren't acting like it's a big deal.
