They didn't really think about how Escavalier would be able to move, so it was given the ability to fly.

I fucking hate Pokemon that have to levitate just to move despite not having levitate. If you have to have some unexplained floating mechanism to move then you have a Pokemon with an absolute garbage design.

Nothing contradicts Magcargo's temperature. Since the series doesn't take place on Earth (this has been confirmed by both TPC and Masuda himself), they don't have to follow realistic physics.

Yes, that's what I'm saying.

Since Game Freak doesn't think of the world Pokemon takes place in as Earth, they can do anything without having to worry about it making sense.

The Speed stat isn't necessarily a measurement of how fast a Pokemon can move, it's a measurement of how fast it can act.
