>>40469576>BackstoryYou and eleven of your peers graduate from the Pokémon University. Each of you is split into teams of three with one professor assigned to each of you.
You mostly only battle your two rivals/team members, but you occasionally fight the other team members in tournaments that are part of the story. When you become champion, many of the team members either take important roles in the region (day care, gym leader, etc.) or challenge you for title.
>Appearance/personality/team: Primary RivalsBriar/Branch: the female/male MC, whichever one you didn’t pick. Fairly boring/protagonist-style personality
Team: Starter stronger than you, Scizor, Starmie, Ninetales, Exeggutor, Staraptor
Karla: a scrappy tomboy. She eventually trades her sporty outfit for the professional business attire of the evil team. She hates losing and joins the Utopia Campaign after several losses to you and Briar/Branch in pursuit of stronger Pokémon and better items.
Team: Same starter, Tyranitar, Eevee evolution Stronger than you, Gyarados, Talonflame, Jumpluff
Yura: Wears academic robes, looks like a shy nerd. He is the professor’s assistant but joins your team when Karla joins the Utopia Campaign
Team: Starter weaker than yours, Spinda, Bruxish, Torkoal, Carnivine, Spiritomb
>Appearance/personality/team: Secondary RivalsPaulie: Preppy boy with plaid sweater vest and pink hair, but not effeminate. He has a pretty neutral/friendly personality
Team: Togetic with Eviolite, Tauros, Weavile, Darmanitan, Mienshao
Gill/Gil: Shy girl/boy who has eyes for you, depending if you are male/female. Dresses in a nice dress/sweater and slacks. Very much like Yancy/Curtis, implied romantic interest.
Team: Togepi with troll moveset, Lopunny, Leavanny, Blissey, Aromatisse
Oleander: Wears hyper-athletic gear, all his clothes are tight as if he could move just as well in water as out of it. He is almost obnoxiously energetic.
Team: Blaziken, Togekiss, Hawlucha, Scolipede, Sawsbuck
