>>40472642I disagree, there aren't many Pokemon in Gen 1 or 2 that conjure feelings of disgust, creepiness or restlessness. In fact the designs are quite simple and what details they have are very minimal like the feet having a bit more detail or more definition of musculature or tufts of fur. Many of them are simply stylized animals, like Spearow, Growlithe etc, which to me at least don't evoke any of the feelings you mentioned. I agree on your last statement though, that is true. I don't know if your post was defending this design, because of what you said about post Gen 3 mons, but I still hold true that this design is ugly and by ugly I mean bad. It has too much going on with the anal beads, cloud feet, hammer head, head spikes, beard, body spots, weird bra with cleavage, its just a mess. None of the genies are good designs.
