Unironicially preordered Sword last night, I've skipped out on two pokemon games (Ultra games and Let's go) I can't do it anymore lads, I want to play a new pokemon game.

I don't know. /vp/ as a board has always come across as one that cares highly about the opinions of others. I assume it's because It skews younger but you don't see other boards worry as much about what other people think of them the way /vp/ does.

I played red, yellow, leaf green, silver, crystal, heart gold, ruby, emerald, omega ruby, diamond, platinum, black 1, white 2, Y, moon, and ultra moon. I'm glad I skipped LGPE but I'm getting shield.

Unlike most autists on /vp/ I have a life outside Pokemon, so I just like to play the first game for the setting/new world novelty.

I played (and dropped) XY because it was boring as fuck.
I skipped ORAS because I'd rather just replay Emerald.
I played SM
I skipped USUM because no point replaying the game again.
I skipped LGPE because I'd rather just replay FRLG

So yeah I'll just play Sword and skip Super Sword and Super Shield. And might skip DP remakes because I'd rather just replay Platinum

I only played Red, Silver, Ruby, Platinum and Black. Never ever bothered with a single third version or remake, and frankly, I've never felt like I was missing anything. Had fun enough.
