Every game as of late has had a friendly rival that goes on about how amazing you are and heals you and gives you items. Most of the Pokémon revealed so far are Kanto Pokémon. Any Gigantamax forms for Johto through Alola? And we still know Gigantamax Lapras is coming.
Is there anything to suggest that it's not gonna be like the past 6 years? Is there anything that says this is gonna surpass Platinum, HGSS, or B2W2, or even DP and BW? Or Emerald, FRLG, Gen II...
I sure would like Pokémon to be good, but it's not happening and I'm not gonna keep buying each game because "I can't complain if I didn't buy it". Buying the games is putting in a vote for them to stay like this. If they sell 15 million copies, that's a message of "make more because what you're doing works". Well fuck that. What they're doing is not working for me and I have literally hundreds of other great games I could be playing instead.
