Dynamax is a universal mechanic meaning the buffs are likely more generalized rather then specifically what a Pokemon would need to succeed.
In this case why would I wanna bring and Dynamax my Dunsparce when I could Dynamax my Tyranitar?
It also only last 3 turns meaning it may be an overpowered mechanic or an underpowered one and depending on who you bring to Dynamax could end up holding the team back.
At the end of the Day Dynamax is a weird mechanic that probably wont help the game much similar to Z moves while Mega Evos were just a way to patch up some fan favorites (And sell legend toys but hey thats how pokemon is)
