It takes a few battles to get in the swing of things sure, but that's life. Nobody is an expert their 1st time doing something. Practice and patience are key so don't give into your self doubt, not just in Pokémon but life in general if you take your time and do thing the right way you'll make it. Also the community is actually really friendly and helpful.

Maybe if they make breeding/IVs/EVs actually fast. The biggest wall to this shit is the time it takes to create and tweak a team.

I'm considering using Gen 8 to actually try to get into competitive, but I said the same thing about Gen 7
Maybe I'll actually get into it this
A big factor will be how easy they make getting viable Pokemon, though, since I won't have to ability to inject this time around

If you started to breed back in gen 6 or so instead of being a lazy faggot you'd have an insane amount of competitively trained Pokemon and a well tuned breeding structure to get anything you want in no time at all by now.
But you didn't, so here we are. Good news is that it's easier than ever, especially if you kickstart it by getting 6IV Dittos from helpful anons.

My guess is that the one that uses the dynamax crystal opens a room that others can join
The room owner can catch the dynamax mom while the others get exp/dynamax crystal shard

I try and play both Smogon singles and VGC and think both have merits.

Though to me its easier for VGC to suddenly become super unfun but thats why I play both.
