I don't necessarily think Kanto would be in again, first off, GF is lazy as hell, and with yearly releases it'd require too much, too fast and Let's go is both an introductory adventure AND nostalgia trip, and due to LGPE, and the franchise's quick release schedule Kanto (the region itself) has no bankable nostalgia right now
Silver will likely be like Blue is in LGPE, he'll replace a plot important character that disappears from the story
Krys will be somehow connected to the whole Suicune thing, just like Green was to Mewtwo
Gold will probably be the one that shows up after beating the master trainers
Your rival, if any, might help you beat Team Rocket but will eventually decide to leave the fighting to become a Pokemon professor or will be a rematchable rival like Barry in Gen IV
Expect the battle system to be the same, so no abilities or held items
They will likely allow Pokemon Go connectivity with up to 2nd Gen Pokemon
If God loves us, they'll update LGPE to make direct transfers through Pokemon Home to Let's go Johto of the first 251 Pokes
