i cant handle the hand holding and dialogue explaining every single thing to do.
its insufferable.
6 hours in please tell me they let me play the game soon.

at this stage i have literally been too frustrated with all the unnecessary tutorial bullshit to enjoy the game.

Pokemon games are always jrpgs, it was just less noticeable when cutscenes involved emotionless sprites and text boxes you could just hold a for and didn't have to bother to read

Yes. Since these anons can't give a strait answer, here's mine.

No , SM and USUM are not all one big tutorial. The first island IT one giant tutorial though. You have to go through 4 of them (5 if youre playing USUM because of Mantine surf) and believe me, it's as annoying and unengaging as it sounds. However after the first island all you have to worry about is the cutscenes which aren't as intrusive to the gameplay as people make it out to be since you can mash a and it'll be over in a minute or two.

Trust me, I'm doing a 100% NatDex run and it really does gets better after island one...

USUM has some pretty solid boss fights, I think it's the most I've got black outs since my first game when I was a kid (Gold)
