To me, who already thought it was real, it confirms it even more, but to anyone who has doubts, he's just simply stating that Sirfetch'd isn't based upon any other design. If you wanted to take that to the extreme, you could even use that as evidence spaceworld is "faked" because he's saying it's not based on the Sirfetch'd they already made.
Things also get lost in translation between japanese and english more often than people would believe.
If spaceworld wasn't real, Ohmori could be thinking the question was something more along the lines of "There is this thing we believe is a pokemon prototype, and it has sirfetch'd in it, did you base sirfetch'd on that?" in which case he would say no because it'd be coincidence.
Also, Ohmori might not know what we're talking about. There WAS, in fact, a spaceworld demo. Whether the one we have or not is the real one is the question, and Ohmori may just be stating "The sirfetch'd we made isn't based upon anything we made for that spaceworld demo".
Like I said, I believe it 100%, but this doesn't prove anything.
