Imagine being so meta and online brainwashed that you REMOVE the legendaries entirely from the game "because it would be UNBALANCED" instead of just banning them in pvp and therefore not breaking the fucking lore.

also makes it so that the overworld is filled with people being followed by normal pokemon, not by legendaries, which feels a bit more authentic
i'm not convinced culling legendaries is the best solution, and the excuse of "unbalanced" is fucking bullshit, but i can easily see the appeal of a no-legendary MMO, other players feel more like real trainers when everybody isn't The Chosen One
