I've finally taken the "You will buy it anyways" pill. It's not about me. I am already 80% sure I'll buy it, but I'm just looking to see some sort of proof of this massive postgame Gamefreak keeps talking about about. No, it's about our Dex friends. They are currently overreacting to their national dex loss as if it's the end of the world when it's clear pokemon will be 100% okay without it. Once our dex friends see this, they'll be ready to pay up. This is for an interesting reason:Our dex friends are actually the ones that have no standards. They parade around about being "uncucked" when in reality they'll pay for anything as long as their bromons are in (whether it's Stantler, Scizor or Charizard). Gamefreak can remove anything (The battle frontier, contests or even mons for a limited time). Just as long as their bromons are in. They are no worse than our buy friends as both react off impulse alone on making choices. However, this impulse will leave and eventually they'll find new bromons just like how a child eventually finds a new toy to play with. It is in this moment when they pay up to gamefreak, buying it anyways despite insisting that they were protesting. Their obsession over pokemon conquering their obsession over their old bromons. It's a sad life for our dex friends but until they learn to let go, they will be certain to buy it anyways. For now, all they can do is cope on Twitter until their impulse overcomes them.
Tl dr:Our dex friends will be buying it anyways unless they can get over their bromons/national dex and start judging SS or future games on an objective level.
