The story, the gameplay, its all kind of beneath me. And them visibly phoning it in game after game does nothing to increase my excitement.
But my roommate is one of those dips who buys doublepacks, and he's trying to pressure me into getting a switch lite despite not really having any games I want to play on it yet. If I do end up doing so, I'll probably end up playing his second copy, out of boredom and requirement for socializing, because most of our other friends will be too. I'll sit with him while he watches like, disney xd shows and isekai trash. I can do the same with pokemon.
So while no, and a hard no, effectively yes.
