>>40524749Let's not forget the constant introduction of features only to gut it next generation or flat out never introduce it again. Big things like Dex Nav and the Battle Frontier come to mind. But neat shit like Ball Seals from Gen 4 (customizing the animation of the effect of sending out your Pokemon from their Pokeball was neat), Difficulty Options, Seasons, from Gen V one feature I actually really liked was Pokemon World Tournament, that never appeared in another game, and of course, the obvious feature of following Pokemon hasn't been seen (I know it was in LGPE, but LGPE is a meme, that hack fuck Ohmori may consider it mainline but considering how much shit it cuts and how the only other Pokemon game it interacts with is Pokemon GO it's functionally a spinoff).
