UI gives me a headache just watching gameplay videos, dom't even wanna know how bad it'd be actually trying to play for an hour or so. Only really like a handful of the new pokemon so far, might change when the dex leaks. Switch requires a subscription for online, I prefer single player 90% of the time so not gonna pay extra for a feature I'll only use occasionally yet is half the fun of pokemon after you've finished the main story. We haven't had decent post game since gen 5, not trusting it's any different this time until they show us it's different. The past few games have had too much railroading and obtrusive story compared to the earlier games where you could just do whatever until you happened to find an important npc that told you to do something or had to be defeated, if they can't tell a story without stopping me to read paragraphs of text every 5-10 minutes I'd rather not play. Power creep is getting out of hand, just because both sides are given the same nukes doesn't mean the game is balanced, just that now there's so much over powered crap that the nukes are necessary to present a challenge or make a hard battle win-able after giving the player a free teleport back to town instead of having them travel and train their pokemon. And last one's a minor gripe but the art style is so inconsistent it's like nobody was supervising and by time everyone turned in the assets they made it was too late to redo stuff so they were jusy stuck with it.
