One of the only major positives that could come from cutting mons would be for Gamefreak to focus on buffing/balancing the mons who did make the cut. So, take a Pokemon that made the cut for Galar and give them a buff. Gigantamax, stat buffs, change their ability, new moves, whatever, as long as it makes sense in order to make them viable.
