>>40536366But it's a bad analogy. It's an analogy that damages his argument because video games are a worthless, frivolous fun time and the stuff going on in Hong Kong is a serious issue impacting actual lives. It also doesn't prove his point, or work in favor of his argument. It makes him look like retarded little autistic child. On top of that an analogy IS a comparison so your own argument is shit.
Something where protesting or discourse actually affected the same medium as Pokemon Sword and Shield supports his argument would have worked better. No Man's Sky post release has been massively overhauled due to it's controversial release, Mario Maker 2 had online play added post-release because fans were upset it wasn't there, Mortal Kombat 2 on the SNES had blood and an M rating because the SNES verison of 1 sold poorly and was poorly reviewed, just recently Nintendo issues an apology AND a refund to people that preordered Tokyo Mirage Session's Switch port because it's built on the censored Western release in Japan too. Pokemon Masters' staff also issued an apology for their poor release, and promised to fix it moving forward.
I'm generally upset about the quality of Sword and Shield but faggots like Distant Kingdom and his twitter crybaby followers are making sensible complaints look bad. Shit like this makes people with reasonable problems look bad because we all get grouped together and a retard who has been propped up by other retards as the king of idiots comparing a video game to a real world problem is just damaging to the overall issues.
