An Egypt region based on it's ancient culture mixed with the tech of the Pokemon world would be pretty cool. Lots of Pokemon already exist that would fit with the culture of the region, as shown in OP's image and some more could be made. Like a grass/ghost type Pokemon that is a ghost possessing a palm fan or a rock/water Pokemon that looks like a canoptic jar (and a form for each kind (heart, brain, ect)), or a region variant of Yamask and Cofagrigus for a couple examples.
