Didnt have Sw/sh mon other wise I would switch Pyroar/Bronzong, Mudsdale, and Chesnaught with Corviknight, Galar Rapidash, and Sirfetched. Other mon considered were.Charizard, Salamence,Empoleon,Aigislash, and Rapidash.

Magcargo is a weird pick instead of a shellfish or reef mon in my opinion. Theme wise anyway. Id think a squid/octopus mon or wailord instead of heliolisk would fit better. I really like the addition of vanilluxe though.

Super-hero like character who can go one level beyond the rest (at least until Cell Saga): Gohan

Mysterious and cool character with "long hair": Trunks (this one's a stretch, but the steel typing could make reference to his sword)

The turtle represents the Kame Style mastered by Master Roshi, Krillin, Goku and Yamcha.

I picked macgargo with the idea of beachside cookouts and a light source at night. And heliolisk for a basking lizard. And i purposely didnt include gumshoos becauss i thought it was too obv. Opted for slowking instead

I dont really see Scizor as a super in my opinion. I thought Scizor was cell because 1. the Scyther line and Cell are both bugs/buglike. 2. Scyther and Cell have three forms (Scyther/Cell, Scizor/Imperfect Cell, Mega Scizor Perfect/Beyond Perfect Cell). 3. They get stronger from an outside source being "added" to them. (metal coat/megastone and Androids)

The Carracosta being a representation of the turtle school makes more sense than just representing Roshi's turtle friend.

Oh... yeah escavlier would fit really well. Maybe in the "horse-mon" slot to represent clavary/jousting. I also forgot about Gallade. The ACTUAL knight-mon. Id maybe have him as my ace instead.

Also to clarify, the Pyroar is a representative of Jesus (aka the lion of Judah), and Bronzong for a church bell. Both for the Crusader/christianity theme.
