See, the thing is that Game Freak has been trying to listen to the complaints about lacking postgame in recent times. That's why they made the Delta Episode, and the Ultra Beast quest, and the Rainbow Rocket stuff. But they completely misunderstand what it is that we want. That kind of one-and-done content might as well just be an extension to the game's main story. When people say "postgame" what they actually mean is longevity, reasons to continue playing the game for many days into the future instead of just one or two more times to complete some finite content.
