>>40558541Brock fought Kiawe only 40ish episodes into the 146 episode series, and end series Kiawe can challenge Ash. Comparing the performance of Early Kiawe to End Kiawe is a tad silly.
As for Megas, you are comparing a permanent massively powerful transformation to a single-use super move that can be dodged. Also, Sawyer wouldn’t have defeated Tierno if he didn’t resort to abusing Mega Sceptile he, decidedly, isn’t a particularly great trainer.
Gladion’s Lycanroc could take out Alain’s Tyranitar, Metagross and Weavile with it’s Counter combined with its big endurance. It could also prove extremely dangerous to Bisharp, if it doesn’t pull off a Guliotine, and Base Charizard.
Zoroark can keep up with SM Pikachu, arguably the strongest Pikachu, and Sivally took a Mythical and Pikachu to take it down. We can claim Gladion’s Umbreon is likely comparable to the rest of his team.
Overall, Gladion is an extremely dangerous and powerful trainer, not even accounting for his Type switching.
As for the others, Guzma’s Golisopod tanked a pointblank Gigavolt Havoc from a Pikachu that surpasses Tapu Koko and Kiawe’s Charizard badly damaged, and nearly tied with, Ash’s Lycanroc, who was the first Pokemon to damage the same Incineroar that stomped a Melmetal with ease and matched it I’m physical strength.
People seriously underplay the Alola Top 4 and its overall skill and power. Yeah, the rest of the league is weak but these four are all dangerous as hell to face off. The only trainers that can really take them are Alain and Paul, maybe Sawyer with Mega Sceptile. Tobias isn’t worth shit if Gladion’s Sivally can take out one legendary and he can out the other with a Z-Move, considering Tobias claimed Gible could have fucked up the rest of his team.
